Does anyone know if it is possible to some how "flag" or otherwise select a particular thread on the forum? I would love to be able to do so and go back in later to review the ones I've set aside. Sometimes I see a particular thread that I don't need the information now, but know that in a year or two I want to be able to go back and find it. It sure would help if I could separate these out for my future use. I know you can go back to the Country threads and look for it but short of keeping a list of the date the thread was posted it's hard to go through all the threads and find the one you want. Also, sometimes the information doesn't fall under an obvious Country thread and would be difficult to find again. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Lisa, I just bookmark it on my computer. Click on the link and it takes you back to the thread with all the updates. Good luck!
lisa,
Having a "flag" is a good idea, and you should certainly send that suggestion to the Webmaster.
In the meantime, you could use an alternate method. Have you got something like Text Edit on your computer (that's a MAC feature, not sure what the Windows version is called)? Open a new file, title it something like "Travel Forum Topics" and save on your Desktop. Each time you find a thread that you might want to refer to later, copy & paste the URL to your document file along with a short description and then save it. That should accomplish the same function.
Like Donna, I just Bookmark them.
You can email a link to yourself. Add a description in the title. Keep it in a segregated folder in your email.
You can also add a comment to the discussion, thanking everyone for their helpful tips. Then it will show up in your profile under "topics Lisa has participated in". And it lets the other posters know that their input was useful to more than the OP.
The date posted would not really help because the date displayed on any list view is the dates of the latest comment on the thread, not the start date. I like the ideas you've already received, but if all else fails, there's also the Search function. Remember, too, that factual details can change and need re-checking in a year or two.
Many thanks to all who responded. You all gave me some great ideas and I'm going to play around with them and see which one works best for me. Thanks again.

FYI to all who helped by replying.....I have found that emailing the thread to myself and then setting up a separate file for the threads works best for me. Don't know why I didn't think to try this myself, but I'm not techno savy and am always afraid to do stuff. But it works! Again, thanks to all of you.
