There's a new player in the trip-planning space: Travoll
I created an account just to see how it differs from Wanderlog (of which I am a devoted fan) and TripIt (which I don't really like).
I tried created a trip and adding plans to it. But it has so many bugs, and it is really cumbersome to use. I quickly determined that it is not even close to ready for primetime.
I tried to delete my account, but doing so required entering my password, and since I created my account with my Google credentials, I didn't have a password, so it wouldn't allow me to delete my account.
I emailed them and asked them to delete it for me, and I got an email back from the owner, whose name is Dani, She said they are a team of two developers and they just launched last month, and she asked for feedback, so I sent her a list of the many issues and bugs I discovered in my quick trial. I told her she should withdraw the app and website and get some serious QA before they release again.
Of course, your mileage may vary, so feel free to give it a whirl and share your experience. Do you think, with some effort to iron out the kinks, they have a good idea for an alternative approach to trip planning?
