Travel Apps!

I just wanted to share a free travel app that I discovered called "Visit a city". I was checking it out last night after downloading it to my i-phone and it has loads of fabulous features. Firstly it allows you to select virtually any city in the world and offers you itineraries based on 1-7 days. You select how long you will be in that city and what sort of things you want to do eg: Museums and galleries, or wineries and restaurants, monuments, etc. The app then provides you with a plan (and pictures) on what you can cover in that time (mostly) on foot. It gives you information on all the sights, has an icon that will take you to a map of how to get there and how long it should take you. It also tells you if the sight is open or closed (very handy) and the app will allow you to book entry tickets instantly. It also contains reviews from other travellers, Tips, Things to Do, etc. You can also add places that you know you want to visit (restaurants, shops etc.) and it will add them to your itinerary map. It also doesn't require wi-fi. I'm sure I'm not the first to find this app, but thought it was well worth sharing!
