Switzerland sim cards that work in the EU are hard to find?

I have used Lebara monthly cards throughout the EU and for less than $20 you get a ton of data, txtx's, and minutes. However, it appears that you can't use in Switzerland (not EU) without expensive roaming charges (by the minute/txt). Is there a provider that covers Switzerland and other alps countries for a reasonable cost?

Last time I needed a SIM In Switzerland was 2021 and for coverage outside of the country there was a hefty surcharge. After that trip, where we had to buy SIMs and service in 3 countries (Italy, UK, CH), we changed our home plan to T-Mobile and now pay $50 per month when traveling internationally to have unlimited data plus talk and text. This is far less expensive than what we were doing with SIMs on long trips.

I do not know any prepaid sims from Germany that also cover Switzerland, or vice versa. There are contract-based sims that do this, but that would not make any sense as a tourist. I think it probably means you have to buy two cards.

For our month long trip in September of 2022 to Switzerland, Italy, Austria & Germany we used Simcorner. https://us.simcorner.com/collections/europe-sim-card It worked flawlessly in all four countries. They mail the card to you in advance. Once you receive the card, you go online & register your card's serial # and the date travel will begin. I installed the sim card in my phone as the plane was landing. Once cell phones were permitted to be turned on......... it connected. Reception was great throughout the trip. We used it primarily for Google Maps & data. We used Skype to call back to the states to touch base with family.

We depart in 10 days for a month long trip to England, Wales & Scotland. I already have possession of my Simcorner sim card. It's registered with a start date when our flight lands at Heathrow.

Further ............ note only certain Simcorner cards include Switzerland. So be careful to view countries covered. But it all worked out for us.
