Hi,I'm going to Scotland in a couple of months and I recently both the SonyA6000. I have a Canon 5d mark ii bit I don't want to carry a heavy camera all day. I wNt to take landscape pic and old churches. Could someone recommend a good lens for that out of the Sony line?

My husband travels with the Sony Nex7 . Like you, he has a Canon 5D that he normally uses, but it's just too heavy for a fast paced tour. He didn't want to carry extra lenses, so he settled on a Sony 16-50mm zoom. It is very compact, and is equivalent to a 24-70mm in the 35mm format.
He opted to sacrifice telephoto capability in the interest of portability. You can't put the camera and lens in a shirt pocket, but it will fit in a coat pocket, something you certainly couldn't do with a 5D.
