We are traveling to the Balkans in September and would like to take a portable smoke and carbon monoxide sensor with us. Any recommendations of a brand name to consider?

This is a carbon monoxide sensor which we took with us for two weeks in England. It worked perfectly. Remember you have to have an adapter and converter. It uses 2 AA batteries which we removed for our flights. We packed the sensor in our carry-on luggage. IT DOES NOT USE LITHIUM batteries, so it was perfect. I also bought one as a stocking stuffer for my older son and his wife who took it to Portugal.
Thank you.
How would you get dangerous levels of CO in your hotel room? I suppose if you were living in a garage and ran a car with the door closed ? Or maybe an unflued gas heater (not sure they even existing in Europe). How many people die of CO poisoning a year in European hotels?
After reading about the couples at the Sandals resort we are getting one for our trip. https://www.kktv.com/2022/05/24/couple-died-carbon-monoxide-poisoning-sandals-resort-bahamas-pathologist-finds/
Since we have one in our house it is reassuring to have one while away.
And if you travel in the winter and you stay in an old airbnb with an open flame space heater.
