I Read about Roamless in another thread, but was titled something different. This is our first trip to Europe with duo esims on our iPhones. Previously we’d purchase a monthly sim at a local store, which took time out of our first day.
Roamless works great. I purchased a pay as you go for $16 ($20 less sign up discount, $2.95 per GB) a week ago on both phones. I referred a friend, who received $5 off and I received a $5 credit. The credit amount has no expiration date, balance can be used on future trips.
No phone #, but can pay for # as an add on. With what’s app we don’t really need a number. If we have to make a landline call, we’d turn on Xfinity mobile cellular for the call.
Yesterday, on the plane while in airplane mode, switched Roamless to primary, Xfinity mobile to secondary, then turned off Xfinity cellular. Upon landing cellular worked within minutes of turning our phones. Also note we did not sign up for the $10 a day global plan with US carrier.
Yesterday I used .1GB or 27 cents worth of data, mostly for Google Maps.
