Rick's Audio Europe App/Audio Tours

We would like to use Rick's audio app/tours for our visits to Rome, Florence, Venice, etc. and was wondering if anyone knows how much space (mb/gb) it uses? Would like to download on my android phone, but worried that it would take up too much space. The Kindle may be better, since we have more GB on the Kindle than the phone. It doesn't say anywhere on this website that I can find.

Thanks for any info.

Install the app on your Android first. Before downloading any of the audio files, you can see in the app how much space they take.

Example:

Florence - Accademia: 9mb/20 min
Florence - The Renaissance: (Walking Tour) 21mb/45 min.

I have an 8GB microSD card in my Android phone. I don't know if the app is smart enough to use that for storage, but if so, every download he has would fit on the card without you much noticing.

WE used our two Kindles to download a number of rick's audio tours, especially in Rome. We took a Friday night tour of the Vatican Museum with only 200 others and had the Sistine Chapel to ourselves with only 4-5 others in the entire place. We listened to the app describe each of the stunning ceiling panels and didn't use our headphones since the place was nearly empty. We were able to spend 1900 - 2300 in the museum after a second group of 200 was admitted at 2100. We downloaded every one of Rick's tours on our itinerary to our Kindles and had no worry about having enough space.
