I am not exactly a Luddite, but I am by no means a technology whiz. I am meeting a friend in Paris after we both will have been traveling separately for a couple of weeks. I will have an Android platform smart phone set only to wifi. She will have an iPad mini.
Recently my brother, SIL and I were traveling in Ireland with our smart phones and we downloaded and used the What'sApp texting app. It worked really well for us when we of course had wifi usually in the hotel. We were also able to communicate easily with their son in Barcelona who downloaded the app as well.
My question is...does the What'sApp work on an iPad mini? Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question, but I really don't know anything about Apple products.
