I was planning to purchase a sim card for my iphone in Frankfurt. Is this possible?
Thanks for any suggestions>
This recent thread indicates that regulatory requirements have made purchasing a SIM card more difficult.

On our last visit in December of 2016, we attempted to purchase a SIM card in Heidelberg. A T-Mobil store would not sell us one without a German address. A hotel address would not do. Vodafone sold us a card for our iPhone 4s &5s. There was a Best Buy type store (sorry, can't remember the name) that would sell us an O2 card which I have used in the UK. However, they could not tell me if I would have service in Hungary or the Czech Republic. So I went back to the Vodafone store and paid a little more than I would have liked. It worked in the 5 countries we visited. From my experience, you will have to look around. Perhaps your best bet is to acquire one at the Frankfurt Airport if that is how you are arriving.
