I've decided to utilize an online postal mailbox for our year-long sojourn to Europe but I'm unsure of which of the many offerings to choose. While cost is always a consideration, I'm more concerned about reliability and service. Does anyone have experience with a service that offers an address in Washington state?

Good luck, Willi, it sounds like your plans are coming together.....
Willi,
We used Earth Class Mail while we lived in Italy and now are using it again while on a two-month trip. We went paperless as much as possible, but there are still a few things we need to have a handle on and ECM does the trick. Not cheap, but reliable.
For this trip we did a temporary forward through the USPS. When it was for over a year, we set up ECM as our address of record with everyone.
When we get something we have to have (for example a replacement credit card) we have it sent to our son for holding.
Very happy with the service.
