This group of spammers thinks they can beat us. They can't. There are too many of us ready to pounce.
If they read this, give it up. You can't win here. But if you want to keep wasting your time.....

OMG are they ever in the Greece section!
It's ridiculous! Do they really think people here are stupid enough to believe their crap?
I will not read it in a box
I will not read it with a fox
I will not read it here or there
I will not read spam anywhere!
(With apologies to Mr. Geisel)
OK, we've all done our best, It takes a Village! I'm LURKING looking in Greece for more.....
Cute, Kathy.
Wonder if today is a daily spam record? There are a lot. I started reporting spam last night. Poor Webmaster has his work cut out.
Could be…for the heck of it I just counted - 63. And I saw previously at least one that the system scrubbed out. Now 74!
I have to wonder if these aren't automated. What spammer would waste his time continuing to post when a few minutes later someone marks it as spam?
The automation would have to include making up new accounts and limiting the posts to 2 per account. A to of programming g involved. Meanwhile, it appears that the posts are starting to logo, I only see high 50s now. Although they keep coming. How many is[ addresses involved to be blocked?
Love it Kathy !!!
Also....bon courage Andrew and team !!!
The best response, Kathy :-)
Those spammers don't care we read it. Their target is AI. ChatGPT and other LLMs are trained by having them constantly scrape the internet. And that includes this corner of it.
These spammers indeed don’t care if the readers of this forum read their posts. It’s all about creating momentum so AI scrapers pick up the telephone number they’re spamming. Every interaction with their posts, including a “reported as spam” statement, gives more credibility to their posts. So replying to their posts actually helps them instead of works against them.
I wonder if the automatic spam catcher isn't working because of whatever is causing the next page not working, like all part of whatever they're working on behind the scenes.
Kudos to the RS webmaster and team for cleaning this mess up. The Forum was virtually unreadable earlier this morning. Well done!
Who will rid us of these turbulent scammers? Well, today, the Webmaster, that’s who! Huzzah!
Every interaction with their posts, including a “reported as spam” statement, gives more credibility to their posts...
+1 why post a "reported" or interact with SPAM in any manner whatsoever? They're either aiming for free advertising targeting a niche audience or trying to play a search engine optimization game. Not only does a response give some validation, but it brings the SPAM back to the top instead of sinking into the abyss of zero interaction. Just report and move on.
