My family has used the Verizon TravelPass in the past before my kids had phones, but with 5 phones now at $10 a day, that adds up. When we went to Iceland, we used a mobile hotspot that we picked up at Keflavik and it worked flawlessly. I rented one for Italy last summer and... it did not work flawlessly. Would it be worth renting one in the UK? We will be traveling all over the country (London, Milton Keynes, York, Edinburgh, Dundee and a short time in the Scottish highlands). We will almost always be together, and we can activate the TravelPass on the off chance that we need it. Do these mobile hotspots work well in the UK? Also, if you can recommend a company that worked well for you, that would be so appreciated!

We've use the https://travelwifi.com in the UK and Europe. Works well and can handle 5 devices.

We bought a Skyroam and it worked great last week in London and Scotland. It costs about the same as renting after 2 weeks and you can use for future trips.
