Lycamobile France with U.S. Address

I am having some trouble getting my new Lycamobile SIM card set up. The only thing that I can't seem to figure out is what to do about the required address field when signing up. I also have not been able to find anybody else talking about this as an issue, so I'm wondering if I am missing something obvious.

I am in France for a month, and while I'm here I want to have a cell phone number along with mobile data, but I do not have a permanent EU address. Lycamobile does not accept my US zip code.

Any suggestions? Should I use the address of a Hostel I am staying in?

Thanks,

Daniel

Are you trying to purchase a SIM card online? It's getting harder to do that now with the new security measures. I suggest you go to a tabac or Relay convenience store and buy one in person. The last time I did this, they didn't ask for any local address. But in case they do, use your hostel or a friend's home.

be sure to take your passport with you, they will ask for it.

Thank you! Yeah, it was just kind of weird and difficult to figure out. I bought a SIM card in a Tabac, but had to go back to my AirBnB to register/activate it. When I tried activating it onlin, it required an address even though I didn't need them to send me a SIM card. Anyway, I finally got some help from a French friend, and it is working now. I just hope they don't cancel my service because I've tried registering my ID with them online twice, but it still says that I need to verify my ID... we shall see!
