I am helping a group of 55 traveling thru Italy & need a way to communicate easily with them all. Simply use group text? Any apps (like GroupMe) that make it easy?

I would suggest texting. Most devices will need to be in wifi or it will be pricey. I would suggest that everyone put Whatsapp on their phone to get free texting. I have used that in the past and it worked great. The only trick was that I needed wifi. That's easy to have in hotel rooms, cafes, etc.
