Going to Czech and Germany next month. Just bought a CUniq 4G data sim in Hong Kong. However, people of discussion forum in HK told me this sim is a UK data roaming sim. I could only activate it UK, not other EU countries.

I've never heard of the firm offering that SIM and would be hesitant in using it. It may as others have told you, be only for data.
A more reliable solution would be to buy a PAYG SIM in the first country you land in, and then use that for the duration of your visit. I assume your phone is unlocked?
