Friends, I'll be traveling through Wales, Scotland, and then the European continent (i.e. Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia). For an iPhone 12 mini, do you recommend packing one universal charging adapter OR packing separate adapters for the UK and the continent?
the electricity is the same - or near enough throughout Europe. Your iPhone 12 charger from home is almost certainly world voltage compatible - do check on the fine print on the charger - all you need is to change the shape of the plug - one adapter for UK, one for central Europe.
I much prefer separate plugs, but for your use need, you may be happy with a universal adapter.
A universal charger/adapter is a single product that does the work of the charging block and two adapters. One like this:

I purchased the Anker product mentioned above for our Basque Tour in May. It worked very well and has a smaller profile than other universal adapters.
Anker is a good brand, and most of my chargers are made by them. You really can’t go wrong with any of their products.
