Galaxy s7 and sim card in Paris

Just found out my galaxy s10+ will not work in Paris. I have an older verizon galaxy s7 that is paid for and should be unlocked. What sim card would you recommend to purchase so that I could keep in touch with my family that I am traveling with in case we go our separate itineraries. Will only be in Paris for 6 days. Thank you for your input, and I apologize if I did not see this topic on earlier post

I was told by the tmobile salesman that my s10 would work, then on their website it said it would not. so I text message tmobile to get another opinion and they said it would not work as well. On Samsung's web site they said an unlocked s10 would work with the bands in Europe. So I am getting mixed messages and wanted to come on this forum to see if anybody has successfully used their Samsung galaxy s10 phone in Paris, France

Each S10+ version is different - there are different versions for different carriers, the unlocked version, etc. So you need to dig up the specs on your exact model. If you can find the exact model number (much longer than just "S10+"), you might have better luck digging up the exact frequencies.

I wouldn't trust what T-Mobile tells you personally.

If you can find the exact model number of the S10+, try the FrequencyCheck website I linked to above and search there for it to see exactly what bands it has. Again, based on that link, the S7 should work there.

You could just take both phones with you and try the S10+ first and if it won't work, put your T-Mobile SIM into the S7 and try it. I'd make sure you can use the T-Mobile SIM in your S7 first before you even leave the states, to make sure you know how to set it to use GSM.
