Has anybody used this new global roaming plan from Canada and can provide a review? CAD$45 for 15GB unlimited call and text within Canada and 81 destinations, including US. There is also a CAD$65 plan for 60GB. Thanks
Freedom is offered nationwide. However, coverage outside of major cities is not as comprehensive as the Big 3.
I am thinking that this plan could actually replace our regular every day plan, with the added feature of international roaming. The amount of data is more than what I normally use at home or abroad and the price is not too expensive. This is the first plan of this type that I came across, at least in Canada. It is a new plan and I cannot find any user reviews.
I have their Nationwide Unlimited 75GB + 5G (with U.S.) plan, and I used my phone in the US last month. No issues; no unexpected charges.
Yes, it looks ok till I saw that the international plans are a minimum of three months .
That’s more than a legal stay in the Schengen Zone for most of us! ;)
I’ll just get my usual simcard in Italy in the Fall.
Also, my husband had trouble in Banff lately with terrible service with Freedom, so what would it be like in another country?
