European mobile roaming charges to be scrapped in 2017

This is really good news. Beginning in 2017, you can buy a local SIM card in Europe and it will work in all of Europe, no roaming charges! YEA!! This is a wonderful improvement.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Something will change in the balance. Either fees will go up, or availability of roaming will reduce.
