Soon we will be flying to the UK for 3+ weeks. During that period we will be visiting the Isle of Man for a week. I am looking for sims that will work for me in both places. The Isle of Man is not part of the UK so I don’t think that I can assume that a sim valid for the UK will necessarily work on the Isle of Man. But I am sure that Brits travel back and forth regularly without any problems.
Any suggestions?
I live across 30 miles across the Irish Sea from the Isle of Man, and my UK sim frequently connects of it's own volition to Manx towers, so there is no obvious reason why a UK sim wouldn't work. Likewise it is OK when I do go over there.

Now that you know a UK sim will work both places, I recommend giffgaff SIM cards. They will send the card at no charge to your US address with instructions on setting it up. You can buy data packages really cheap and have a UK phone number. I understand they now have eSIM available but we went before that was a thing.
