Entry requirements - neat online tool

I just discovered a very cool online tool for determining the entry requirements for anywhere in the world you want to travel.

https://www.explore.co.uk/entry-requirements

You enter where your passport is from, what country you are departing from, what country you are visiting, and whether you are vaxed for Covid-19. It then tells you whether you need a Visa, eVisa, eTA, or other documentation, and what vaccines are required or recommended.

Could be really helpful for planning, and if there is an online application for a Visa or eTA, a link is provided.

As it says on the page, the tool is a widget from Sherpa, which is a company that helps travelers get Visas.

Explore! is a travel company out of the UK, I think, though they also have an office in Boston, Mass. I did a tour with them to Colombia in 2023. There were 12 travelers, 9 of which were from the UK, one from Ireland, and me and one other American. It was a good tour, and I like that the group size is so small. I also really enjoyed traveling with non-Americans. Nothing wrong with traveling in a tour group with Americans, but this was a pleasant variant on group touring. My one negative was that it was all one-night or two-night stays. I prefer tours that stay longer in each destination.

I happened to be on their website today because they have a tour to Madagascar that looks very interesting.

This is the same basic functionality that Delta makes available on their website - here is a previous forum discussion:

Note that Sherpa charges USD 9.00 to process an application for a UK ETA in addition to the ETA fee. So you need to decide whether the convenience of using the site to submit your application is worth it. Obviously there is some value in learning what is required for a specific country.

Also, be sure to reject all cookies if using the site - they default targeting cookies to ON.
