I can get to google, ESPN and other websites, but not RS...
Cant find the app either.
I just want to use this old kindle for my aunt to be able to do the tours along with me (i have it on my phone).
Any tech savy folks know what the problem could be?
I did notice that RS site has https. The other sites just have http
Pretty sure the S stands for secure website. Not sure if that helps.

I had similar problem with an old Galaxy Tab which had jelly bean 4.1. The OS was obsolete and insecure and i could no longer access this website. One way i was able to get around this limitation was to switch to the Chrome browser. Eventually i got a new tablet with the latest version of Android.

Yep, that might be the problem. Once my old laptop got several generations of updated OS versions behind (not enough "oomph" to run them), I wasn't able to update Safari to access certain sites, like RS, anymore: had to limp along on Firefox until I replaced the entire device. Could be that your Kindle OS or current browser version is just too outdated as well.
