Do Apple AirTags work with IPads?

I have an Android cellphone and the reviews I see for the tracking tags for them are a bit dubious.
I’m wondering if the Apple AirTags work using Apple IPads with a wifi connection?
Thanks…..would like to hear if anyone has done this.

The AirTags work with the Find Me app on all Apple products. I just looked and I can see mine.

Yes, it works with all Apple products, including Macs, Macbooks, iPads and iPhones. Everything is listed in the Find My app.

I use them with my IPad and/or my IPhone and I find them very beneficial to travel with. I sometimes check a bag and it gives me peace of mind to be able to track a checked bag and know where it is and if it is on the flight with me and has made it to my destination before it rrives at the carrousel. I also keep one hidden in my purse everyday and in my carryon bag.

SJ - perhaps you've already ordered "some". I would advise getting a 4-pack of AirTags. I use them when travelling but also daily when just out and about near home - I put them inside or attached to various items... checked luggage, roll aboard, back pack, purse, umbrella, fanny pack, keys etc. Using the Find My app on either my iphone or iPad has helped me more than once not only to track items but also to locate misplaced items! When making a flight connection it is comforting to know that my checked lugged has been placed on the connecting flight to my final destination. As others have confirmed... your iPad "Find My" app will allow you to use Air Tags.

I only need one, but my husband is always misplacing stuff.
Maybe I’ll get them for him!

They make great Christmas and birthday gifts! I've bought them for daughter and my 3 sisters, and they all loved them! It's one of those gifts that you sometimes don't think of buying for yourself (unless you're a traveler or a techie) but once you have it, you realize how handy it is.
