We are planning a bike tour in France and would like to use our smartphone (T-mobile) to navigate our routes with GPS. The routes are on the RideWithGPS app. Given that, what is the best way to access GPS for the trip?

T-Mobile does have one of the best (if not best) international data plans so just check what plan you have. Otherwise GPS apps do eat up a lot of data and with the wrong plan could eat up your data fast. If you don't have their 'good' plan then you can try some offline map apps but they aren't as convenient for on-the-go GPS. You can find more information here.
