Looking for a rec for a good eSIM for use in Germany. I have more than enough free fast Data through my US plan, I just need something to make calls within Germany. Maybe 30-60 mins is all I need. Any first hand, recent recs?

I tested Orange Holiday esim briefly when making a connecting flight in Frankfurt and it worked for me. Orange provides a French number which is supposed to be good all over the EU. I can vouch for Spain and Portugal. It also has limited international minutes and texts to call home.
For my upcoming May trip, which includes Berlin and Dresden, I plan to use Roamless which is a pay-as-you-go mobile data plan which also allows you to make phone calls for about $0.04/min in Europe. You can even verify your own cell phone number in the app to make it appear that you are phoning from your cell phone number. For my type of data usage, I believe that pay-as-you-go will be much cheaper then paying for a fixed mobile data esim. I have not tested it yet but the reviews have been good.
There were Roamless promo codes, which may or may not still be valid, providing 3 GB of free data in three groups of countries: ROAM25, ROAM, 50, ROAM75. There's also a $5 referral code if you want to private message me.
