bcengi mobile apps

I've been sold on bcengi as my eSIM provider for a while. (Note that I have absolutely no connection with bcengi and no skin in the game.)

I just got an email from them that they have just launched their mobile apps. They're available in the App Store and in Google Play. I just installed it, and it seems like it will make it much easier to manage (although once it's set up, almost no management is required).

I agree, I'm a big user of Bcengi. Learned about it on this forum. The app works fine. I appreciate that I can manage two esims with one login account. I wish Bcengi would create a way to make phone calls in their app like Roamless, but I can appreciate it's a big task to add that ability.

What is the advantage(s) of Bcengi over Roamless? Cheaper at $1.19/GB in Europe vs $1.95/GB for Roamless?

I still have a significant flex credit balance in Roameless. But I may give Bcengi a try after I use up Roamless balance. However, I've got so much free promo flex credit that it may take me a few years at my rate of usage. LOL.

funpig, as you say, data is a bit cheaper from Bcengi for the countries I use. But Roamless has the very cheap phone call thing. Both work equally fine for me. And now, both have an app. I haven't seen a big difference in what networks they use. Still, for some of the much higher priced countries, one could cost a lot more than the other. I'd use their websites to check on data prices for other countries.

I used it in Norway and really had a good experience, and I love that I have a backup at home when T-Mobile can't connect for some reason. I mentioned this before on another thread, but I used it recently when we had a power outage and T-Mobile's service somehow disappeared. I was able to use it for a few hours to access the internet.

I just found out about the app a week or so ago and haven't really used it yet, but I'm sure it will make things simpler. Thanks for the update, Lane.
