adapter and voltage converter for CPAP machine

can anyone share a link for an adapter/voltage converter for a CPAP machine? Would be great if it also
has USB ports.
Thanks

If you have one of the old CPAP machines that aren't dual voltage, you should speak with the company that supplied it. They would be to the only ones I would trust to know how powerful a converter you need. As for the adaptor, any place that sells travel supplies, as well as Amazon, has all kinds. Which one you get depends in part on where in the world you are travelling to.

My dh’s unit from 2013 does not need any adaptors/voltage converters, works fine all over the world. He has replaced the breathing tubes but that is all.

Look on your machines' electric power pack. If it says 100-240 then it converts automatically, same as a telephone, an iPad or a computer does. Machines have been dual voltage for a long time.

All you need is a little plug adapter, as CJean wrote.

I agree - every CPAP that has been made in the last 20 years or so has dual voltage, so there is no need for a converter. Just get an adaptor and plug it in like you do at home.

schillpaw, we really need you to get to a bright desk light and turn your device's (or wall-wart) regulatory label so you can read every character on it. Some of the answers you have are for ADAPTERS that are not CONVERTERS. We need to know if your CPAP says "100-120VAC" or if it says "100-250VAC" (or something like those two number pairs.) You have not yet posted enough information to get a complete answer for your safe solution.

As the others have mentioned, you may not need a voltage converter. Check the power supply for the CPAP machine, looking specifically for the words "Input Voltage." If this states "input 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz." you can connect it directly to outlets in Europe and it should work just fine. It may operate slightly warmer when connected to 230 VAC outlets.

You will however need Plug Adapters specific to the countries you'll be visiting. The Euro adapter with two small round pins works in most of Europe. However if you're also going to the U.K. you'll need a separate adapter. Also if the CPAP requires a ground connection (ie: three pins on the plug), you'll have to buy a grounded plug adapter. The grounded models vary depending on whether they're used in France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany or elsewhere.
