I'll be traveling to Italy with my Iphone 13. I have 5G service here in the USA with T-Mobile. When I arrive in Italy I know it will connect with the local provider network, but will it be the local 5G, LTE, or 4G service? Or a mix of each?

If you are using T-Mobile's free international data service it will be closer to 2G. That's been my experience with a 5G phone. In some cases it will be faster but T-Mobile only promises 2G.

There's no reason to flag Frank's post. I imagine there was another post that appeared after his, that Richard was referring to, that has since been removed by the Webmaster,
