NY Times had a nice article and video on some apps for a Paris visit. Some other useful apps you might want to check out if you're interested in bike-share programs are AllBikesNow and Bicyclette. They map the availability of bikes and docks in a number of European Cities. Bicyclette also has US, Canada and Australia. AllBikes is available for iPhone and Android, Bicyclette only for iPhone.
