11 interesting travel startups to watch in 2017

I found this article, which might be of interest to many on this forum.

I'm particularly intrigued by Easyterra and Backlane, which offer services people are frequently asking for advice about on this this forum: car rentals and hiring private drivers. But I can see where many of these tools could be valuable for lots of folks.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blacklane - we have been very pleased with their car services, whether in Rome or San Francisco. The best thing is there is no payment to be made to the driver and you know when you book how much your trip including gratuities will cost. They have been operating for at least four years.
