Awesome trip! The Stockholm parts reminded me so much of our recent trip there in April. I did not know there were hotels near the ABBA Museum, but I agree that while it would be convenient for the museums there, it would be pretty dead at night. We stayed near the Central Station, but I loved Djurgarden.
Also interested in your report on the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. We saw them leave each day and wished we could have gone over. Next time!

The 'dead at night' bit was actually attractive to us. We live in a very rural area of Scotland and are not used to city noise. The Hotel Hasselbacken is lovely. Yes the Viking ferry was great and the journey out through the archipelago was amazing.
