I´m from Los Angeles, CA. and currently planning a trip to Spain this winter, and since I never been there before I would like to get some recommendations for Madrid specifically. I don´t like the typical tour bus, so i preffer to hire a private guide for a couple of days to show me around. I´m also interested in seeing towns nearby (but not too far away from Madrid, maybe 1 hour drive max.). Any suggestions? Tnx!

Just in case this brings something more ... If you are looking for a private guide in Spain, I would like to recommend https://madridtourexperience.com/. Pepe Alonso specializes in private tours for tourists from the United States who want to travel to Madrid, Toledo and/or Segovia. He has many years of experience having been a featured guide on ToursByLocals. Take a look at his themed tours. I recommended the Toledo Jewish Quarter tour to some friends from New York and they were very satisfied.
