I'd like to walk the entire camino de santiago from st jean pied de port to santiago de compostela. Has anyone experience with companies that provide hotels and baggage transport that they could recommend?
Thank you,
Peter Lane
There are a number of companies that will organize this for you as a self-guided trip, such as this one based in the UK:

Which Camino are you going to follow (there are many options)? Fresco Tours also organizes this type of request.
I was curious about a thread named Peter, thinking we were going to be discussing St Peter.
oh well, made me look.
For people less inquisitive than me, or for those with less of a sense of humour, maybe change the title to something meaningful for your hoped for answer? Maybe something like "Camino luggage transport" which might attract people with answers to the specific question?
I considered a travel organizing company for a 17 day trip, walking from StJean Pied de Port to Logrono, transferring by car to Sarria and then walking to Santiago, as well as luggage transfers each night between hotels so we only have to have day packs... they wanted $5700 for two of us.
Then I realized a) the route is obvious b) Google Maps can show the hotels in the places you want to stop and C) i could search for companies to transfer is and our luggage as needed. I spent two-ish days doing the research and booking accommodations -- and saves about $3000 -- plus upgrading accommodations.
I used Caminofacil for luggage transfer and transport. There are plenty of others.
Loads of pilgrims and tourists make this journey and loads of companies are there to support us in whichever ways we choose to make the journey.

Nigel, I was curious about the title too,
I do hope the OP considers changing it -
as it will be helpful to others doing a search in the future.
Enjoy the Camino!
Edited to add:
Ms. Jo has walked the Camino a few times and she recently posted some helpful links on this thread: Camino Q&A
