Sorry for abandoning this post for quite some time and it is likely I will now spend a couple of months in Valencia this Spring, so I have begun the process of looking for a place to rent in the near future.
I had done some searching and found a few sites offering apartments for rent in Valencia. I will share some of what I found below in case it is of use or interest to others.
This site doesn’t look bad, but the apartments I found for Valencia on this site all seem to be mainly larger spaces for groups of 3-6 people:

I will probably be traveling on my own, and may only have an occasional guest visiting at times, so I probably only need a one bedroom apartment with a living room and a comfortable couch where a guest can sleep for a short duration.
I also saw this site, but a few of the apartments listed for Valencia struck me as being very expensive for one bedroom apartments:

I also saw this site, which offers some very nice looking apartments, but again prices seem quite high for Valencia and the rates seem more like daily Air BNB rental rates rather than real monthly apartment rental rates:

Lastly, I found this site, which has some reasonably priced rentals it seems and nice looking apartments:
What I noticed about this site NestPick though is that when you want to get more information on a listing it redirects you to a partner site here: https://www.spotahome.com
It seems NestPick is mainly some sort of aggregator site, but they seem to have quite a few bad reviews as well, which concerns me:

Does anyone have any personal experience using NestPick?
Also, if you have any other sites in English that you might suggest I look at for apartment rentals in Valencia, then I would appreciate it if you would post links too.
