My family and I will be getting to Montserrat by the Go City Pass bus that stops directly at the Monastery.
I would like to ride the cable car going up to the Monastery for the views.
Can we walk down to the cable cars from the Monastery, how long does the walk take? Is it a strenuous walk? How much does it cost to ride the cable cars and how often does it run?
Thank you!
Hi Yin
This is the route on foot from the "Aeri de Montserrat" train station -where the cable car departure is located- to the monastery up in the mountain:

It is not that long, but it's steep. Despite being labelled as "easy" in this website, it's quite demanding in reality.
DO CHECK THE WEATHER before embarking into any ascending/descending: https://www.montserratvisita.com/en/organize-the-visit/useful-information/the-climate
