Barcelona protests

What is the history of the protests. I mean how many occur per year on average looking back. I tried to google it. The search terms must not have been clear enough. I would really like to know. I was in France for some protests and strikes. Very difficult to get to airport and fly out. Thanks so much. I have a trip down the road. Thanks so much.
