Hotel recommendations in Seville

Hello. I'm looking for hotel recommendations or recommendations on what part of town to stay in while we're in Seville this December.

Erica,

Below is a thread from earlier this year with some other hotels mentioned. I have not yet been to Seville so I don't know the various neighborhoods.

One of the city's best hotels, Hotel Alfonso XIII, is near Puerta de Jerez but I'm not sure what is around the hotel as far as cafes, bakeries, Tapas bars, etc.

The Seville Cathedral separates the Barrio Santa Cruz and El Arenal. Both seem to be popular neighborhoods on this Forum.

Well located is the Vincci Hotel brand. They have a traditional 4 star hotel, then a couple buildings nearby that are set up more as suites or apartments. We were able to get a deal on Booking.com last year for their Vincci Molviedro Suites Apartments. I think we only paid around a hundred euros per night, maybe a bit more, when they first opened them, now I see they are going for closer to 500 euro/night. Same with their hotel, rooms can run 200-300 euros/night, but on short notice right now, they have them for 60 euro, crazy.

Not saying you want to wait until last minute, but December will not be high season, you might try looking at Booking.com and see what comes up.

I've been to Sevilla 3 times and stayed at the Amadeus every time. I love its charm, comfort, location and very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
