Nice, clean, near city center - we are in our 60's, not party folks,
Hotel Amadeus is wonderful! Easy walk to everything; terrific staff; beautiful rooftop for breakfast or a drink in the afternoon. Highly recommend. https://www.hotelamadeussevilla.com/el-hotel/
We couldn't get a room at the Amadeus, so we "settled" for the Becquer Hotel - turned out to be the favorite hotel of our 2017 trip to Spain. Nice rooms and ours at least had a huge bathroom. Great location for walkers.
My mom and I have enjoyed our stay at Hotel Amadeus, and at Hotel Fernando III.
Both of these hotels are steps from each other and in the Santa Cruz neighborhood.
Enjoy your trip!
In 2017 we stayed at the Hotel Casa 1800 recommended in RS Spain quide. Very nice hotel, good location and excellent breakfast. It is very near the cathedral and the Royal Alcazar with many sites within walking distance. We chose a top floor room that had a jacuzzi on the terrace with a view of the top of the cathedral. Many good tapa restaurants near by.

We stayed in the old Jewish quarter and stayed at El Rey Moro. We still are astounded with the inexpensive price. Super, super clean, so much local charm, roof top terrace and wonderful breakfast included. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.
I'm fairly certain that I would have found it in the Rick Steves guide.
Here is a bit of an alternative. Apartamentos Living Sevilla. We had an excellent stay.
Carol now retired (me, too! and loving it): which apartment did you choose, and which location? we're starting to look now for our trip in October and have to admit it's a bit overwhelming........
We stayed at Centro Maestranza property. Great location.
I stayed four nights last week at El Rey Moro. Absolutely lovely and the location can’t be beat. It’s on Rick’s “kissing lane” on his Seville walk a few blocks to the Cathedral and Alcazar. Highly recommend.
