Ljubljana Food tour

I will be in Ljubljana before my Best of Adriatic Tour starting April 19. I have 3 extra days.

Any must does? Any food tours you guys would recommend. I will do the market but it would be better if someone was intruding me to the local food.

I am thinking one day to the Postojna Caves with Slovenian Explorer.

Though I did not take a food tour in 2024 when I visited Ljubljana, I visited the Open Kitchen Market that is part of the Central Market downtown (picture of the kitchen market seen here: https://myljubljanatour.com/blog/ljubljana-markets-guide/). The kitchen market was superb -- great food (and beer), lots of choices, relaxed vibe. I also took a quick tour of downtown based on Rick's map in his Eastern Europe guidebook.

I passed through Ljubljana on my way to Lake Bled, and it might have been a mistake: Ljubljana is a wonderful city and definitely worth a stay. Pleasant city.

The LjubljanaYum food tour is excellent. I've done many food tours on multiple continents; this one is one of the best. There are many tastings while walking the central core of the city and learning about it. I highly recommend it.

Thank you so much.
I am planning on doing both the open kitchen and a food tour.

Do you have any favorite places to eat?
