my husband and I are spending a week in Porto in October, does anyone have recommendations for a nice place to stay?

Choose s location walkable to the riverfront. We liked Hotel Infante de Sagres. There is a newer Pousada right on the River too.

We stayed in Matosinhos, using Airbnb. We were right at a Metro station "Matosinhos Sul" and traveled to Porto on the Metro using the 24 hr. cards. A great experience for 3 days.
