The most interesting point in the article, to me, is that LaGuardia had 5,000,000 more bags to check in 2024. But, it's an interesting read on a Saturday morning.
Lindy, thanks. This article was informative & fascinating. Always better when they include actual photos or videos. Since I fly Delta mostly it was particularly pertinent to my bag checking process.
I didn't know there was a chip in the tag, and how many times the tag is scanned. That makes it puzzling how many times people say the airline lost a bag and doesn't know where it is.
The chip in the tag explained to me, who also didn't know it was there, how Delta was able to text me about my suitcase's whereabouts throughout the whole process. It was comforting although I had Tile, too.
