I've been hearing that Ryan Air can be tricky and it seems the measurement may be just a little high? Also I'm not sure if plane size is smaller as this will be from Sicily to Bologna. Any advice would be helpful
I don’t know the size of your luggage, but Ryanair’s baggage policy is clearly stated on their website. They also have weight restrictions. Their baggage policy is more restrictive than say EasyJet’s policy, which has no weight limit.
Being a value airline, you maybe asked to fit your bag into the measurement bin. If it doesn’t fit, you will have to check the bag in, which is more expensive than checking it in advance. Ryanair are more likely to check if the flight is full.
No.
If you pay for "priority and two bags" you can bring a carry on size 55 x 40 x 20cm. The Ravenna is approximately 54 x 36 x 23cm. And since it is hardshell, it can't be squished down.
Without paying extra, you can bring a bag that is 40 x 25 x 20 cm or 15.7 x 9.8 x 7.8 inches.
The size of the plane doesn't matter with Ryanair.
