Here's something I've been pondering for a while and I can't decide so I'm looking for your help. I drink a lot of water and tea when home, but on the road, not so much because, you know, finding bathrooms. But I'm not asking about that. I can't decide if I should carry a bottle for liquids and if so, what type - insulated, non-insulated, plastic.
Pros:
I have my beverage of choice at hand when I want it, including on the RS tour bus and in airports
If I bring an insulated bottle, then I can have hot tea.
I'd have a bottle to drink from in hotels, which don't always have glasses or plastic cups in the room.
Good to avoid single use plastics
Cons:
Another thing to pack
It can be bulky (I do carry on only)
If i bring a non-insulated bottle, then no hot tea
Less need to stop at cute cafes and people watch
So, what are your thoughts?
