The RS Convertible bag doesn't come with a sternum strap.
Has anyone put one on that they like and if so, which one and where did you get it?
Thanks.

Frank II,
I don't have a definite answer, but wondering whether one of the Tom Bihn Sternum Straps might work. They have a model with a whistle for $5 but I couldn't tell from the photos how it's attached.
The Tom Bihn Sternum Straps attach to their backpack straps differently than most.
and the $5 piece is just for the whistle/buckle combination.
If you're competent with scissors, needle and thread you could come up with something using webbing and release buckles.

These may not be the right stuff but you may find appropriate components wondering about a climbing or mountaineering shop or department.
Frank II,
If you can't find a suitable product, you could perhaps buy a couple of buckles and some cordura webbing, and have something constructed at a local shoe repair place.
Sternum straps are available for purchase. There is no need to get them made.
I'm trying to find out if someone has ACTUALLY bought some and used them specifically on an RS bag.
