I’m heading on the rs Sicily tour in 5 days. Looks like the weather is rainy and cooler. Anyone recently back? Any recommendations re shoes/coats etc?

I like Allbirds Mizzles for this type of weather. They keep my feet warm and they are water resistant.

I’m getting ready to go to London and Paris and I’m in the same debate. I have three coat options lined up and I have no idea what I’m taking.

I looked at updated weather and it looks sunny now. Hopefully the rain is past. I’m taking a thin hooded Columbia raincoat. Packable and good for over layers.

Returned on 10/19 and rain started only on 10/18. While it should rain all day it only rained fir short periods.
Ideally light packable raincoat e.g. Columbia and good shoes with good grip. Many sites eg Erice are cobble/ smooth marble that are slippery when wet.
