RS rolling carryon and Iceland Air

When I was flying out of SEA the other day, I was curious if my bag would fit in the sizer for Iceland Air. My bag was far from stuffed, but it held its shape, if that makes sense. It easily slid into their sizer. Of course they have a weight limit too, so it isn't all about size. But it is good to know in case I want to take that bag to Iceland. For some reason, I have not taken that one before, and we have been a handful of times.

Big Mike--It was just nice to see just how much wiggle room I would have with that bag and the airline. At SEA, Iceland Air is a stickler for size and weight. This will be our 5th trip to Iceland coming up, but we are taking duffel bags since that is easier on the camper once we arrive. We usually have at least one extra empty bag for bringing stuff home. One time we brought our REI expedition bag since we brought home 2 duvets, lol! We love the 2 duvet system, and finally adopted it for here at home. Last time we brought a beautiful wool blanket home for our daughter, and I think we may snag one for ourselves this time. If my husband had his way he would have an entire bag of bingo balls;)

mikliz, yeah, Icelandair is a stickler for carry-on size. Looks like you're in for a grand adventure. I'm looking forward to reading your trip report. Safe travels.

p.s. I like the idea of a separate bag for extra stuff for the return trip.
