recommended quilted backpack?

I may be crazy but I though but I saw this cute quilted backpack recommended on the forum. I thought at the time it would be worth considering. I, of course, did not bookmark it and have not been able to find it.

Wonder if anyone else might remember it.

The featherweight one is tempting (although pricey) but I wondered whether you really can't wash it. I see directions for spot cleaning. I have always occasionally washed day packs.

I have been carrying Vera Bradley bags and backpacks for 30 years. I love them. You can wash the quilted cotton ones. I just throw them in the wash and dry them as well.

All of my new luggage purchases have been Vera Bradley products. The only problem I've had is that I keep seeing other patterns and styles from VB that I think I need.

Okay-you all have convinced me! I am going to close my eyes and buy it. I bought some Tom Bihn products the same way. And I do love them.(and have conveniently forgotten how much I paid!.)

The not washable aspect is almost a deal breaker for me. The thing will be under an airplane seat in my case!
But actually I do have some other non-washable bags and I use the delicate cycle on my washer and special cleansers (sort of like wool wash--the stuff you just soak items in).
Bag addiction is real, I don't want to say how many I have...Calpak Luka duffle is my current favorite,.

I ordered black. There was one print I did like but chickened out. I am a boring kinda gal-the type who has plain color shirts rather than prints. So Vera Bradley is mostly outside of my comfort zone.

I bought my mother the most beautiful purple patterned floral Vera Bradley duffle a few years ago. Every time I see it, it makes me smile.

Just a note, if you live near an outlet mall Vera Bradley has a lot of outlet stores and the merchandise is often dramatically cheaper there (We stock up on gifts for an annual charity event there at much less than half price !)

Believe it or not there was until a month ago an outlet store in the shopping center 15 minutes away from me.

Timing is everything it seems.

Hi BethFL!
And ... we’re back to more Vera Bradley.
Addictive brand with all the products and patterns.
Tips for Vera shopping on Amazon. VB prices on Amazon are like watching the stock market. First, identify the product you want to buy. Then, check out the other color patterns and determine the high/low selling points. Decide what price range you are willing to pay for that item. Now, check the price of your item daily at different times until it is sold at your acceptable price. The price swings can be crazy.

Having strict criteria for your desired item helps also. Example: I avoid dark interiors and like a certain size and certain features. This helps me to eliminate a lot and hone down my choices.

Have fun!
