purse/bag that will fit camera

I am planning to bring my DSLR with the standard lens and a 200mm. My current camera bag is very large and bulky and holds more than I want to bring. Can you recommend a anti-theft bag/purse that my camera and lenses can fit in? I won't have much else in my bag just a few small things.

We purchased this for my Husband and he loved it and it can expand to hold more if needed (umbrella, packages etc)

Lowepro Passport Sling DSLR Camera Bag (not anti-theft, but we are not fans of the concept)- we purchased on Amazon.

I wouldn't worry too much about anti-theft other than don't set your bag down or on a table or over a chair. A pickpocket won't try and steal a camera, but a thief seeing it sitting un-noticed would. If you plan to put other things like credit cards and money in it too, make sure it has a secure pocket that cannot be easily pickpocketed.

I took a Pacsafe Camsafe bag on the London tour and it worked pretty well. With a big Nikon body and two lenses, it was a snug fit but better than hauling my regular bag around. Handy front pocket, tablet sleeve in back, must-have water bottle pocket on the side. Agree with Douglas that it's more important to be aware of your bag and surroundings than having a bag with safety features. That said, I do like the Pacsafe zippers that clip shut against pickpockets.

I agree that the LowePro Passport Sling is a nice, flexible bag. The bag also packs well in a suitcase.

I added a couple of key-ring type rings to each of the zippers, and then attached a small locking S-biner to the rings. The ring/s-biner combo makes it more of a challenge for a thief to get into the bag.

The main drawback it that the bag is not waterproof -- by a long shot. If you are anticipating rain, I would make sure to include some plastic bags to cover your gear.

I have a padded camera cube that protects my camera and I can pop the whole thing in the day bag.
