Price Alert for Ebags Stuff

The mother lode jr backpack can be had for $54 on Amazon. (Description states 18,” but that’s just for the laptop compartment. It’s the standard ML junior bag.). Also, very low prices on Ebags packing cubes on Amazon. Maybe Ebags is clearing house? These are crazy low prices.

Just ordered the Mother Lode Jr in heather grey. Happy Mother’s Day present by using an Amazon gift card from one of my kids. :) Can’t wait to get it here and check it out. I’m hoping I can take it to London in October. I will need see which of the small bags (I bought the two wheel rollaboard RS bag when it was on sale several months back) are best for my packing for a week. I really am intrigued with the prospect of being hands free, so I thought maybe with this shorterish stay, it would be a good possibility. We’ll see!

Btw, I did find a thread on the one bag Reddit group that offered a brilliant hack for creating a hip belt should it be needed. Basically he bought an Aer hip belt and two 2 pin sea to summit side- release field repair buckles. (2 inch size) and applied them to his MLJ. He had a picture on the thread showing the end result. Looked pretty good to me. I may try it if I see I want or need the extra support.

@Mustlovedogs, I ordered the same one! I debated between grey and black but went with the grey. I don’t have a Europe trip planned right now (gasp!) but it was too good of a deal to pass up. I may try it on a trip to Chicago later this year. I saw that a same Reddit post about the waist belt, very clever!

My eBag MotherLode Jr. bag came today. By first glance and initial try on, it feels great on my back. Love the heather grey color, too. I am glad I opted for this size instead of the regular version. Of course I need to travel with it packed to get a definitive answer, but for whatever reason it seems like a better fitting bag on my back than the Cotopaxi. I’m going to do a fake pack with cubes, etc. in the next few days just to see. Hope it is a good purchase!

I have done well with ebags products. I have an old ebags etech backpack (no longer made) which works really well. Great organization, durability, weight, etc.. Enjoy!
